OK. So “Launch and Learn” may not be the best way to start an airline or a hospital but it’s a great way to get a new website started and stop procrastinating. I’ve had the photoblog for over three years now and it’s time to move in a different direction. I’m going to spend a little time getting the layout the way I want it and then dive in. Stay tuned.

Congratulations on the new web log. “Furious Fireflies” is indeed a “crazy juxtaposition” of words and I look forward to the story you make up explaining that title and linking it with Faulkner, Twain, and Shakespeare. Your first blog essay, “Middle School Blues” is much too humorous to be called a rant, but that‘s okay, Brian, because you’re not really a ranter, you’re a funny guy. This is a nice start on your new blog, and I know that with your wit, writing style and light touch it will be as successful as the photoblog (which I hope you will also continue). I only have one minor complaint: I don’t want to read any more sly digs at curmudgeons. Long may we prosper! Again, congrats!
